Awards & Scholarships
The 2006 South Carolina $500.00 Scholarship was awarded to
Stephanie Rogers is the eighteen-year-old daughter of Bryan and Angela Rogers.
Bryan Rogers is a Program Technician in Marion County. Stephanie will be
attending the University of South Carolina in Columbia this fall. She has been
accepted into the Arnold School of Public Health and plans to major in Exercise
Science. Although she is not certain of her career choice, career opportunities
exist in academic institutions, hospitals, research laboratories, physical therapy
facilities, rehabilitation facilities, health and fitness centers and public health
agencies.

The 2008 South Carolina $500.00 Scholarships were awarded to

Michael Wayne Brown is the son of Scott and Kelli Brown of Bamberg, S.
C. Wayne will graduate from Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School on May 30,
2008 and plans to attend Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College in the
fall. During his High-School years he played Varsity Football and
Wrestled on the Wrestling team in the 215 division. He has also received
several awards including:2007 Boys’ State Delegate, Garnet and Black
Society, Grand Champion of the 2004 Poultry Contest. Wayne is an
active member of the Youth group at Spring Branch Baptist church and a
member of the Clear Pond Volunteer Fire Department.
